Stops scheduled throughout the U.S. and Europe.
Wolfram Research, Inc., the innovative technical computing leader, has come up with a novel way of bringing its new Mathematica 3.0 directly to its customer base. The Mathematica EmPOWERment Tour MathMobiles are elaborate, colorful trucks and trailers that feature large, inflatable soft sculptures and tent structures and are equipped both with on-board computers for interactive software demonstrations and with exterior video displays for product and company overviews. Starting this fall, they will tour with stops scheduled at major Mathematica-user sites, including corporations, research facilities, and academic institutions throughout the U.S. and Europe.
The Mathematica EmPOWERment Tour coincides with the introduction of Mathematica 3.0. This product represents the most comprehensive project ever undertaken in technical computing and the culmination of five years of extensive research and development. The MathMobiles, through their unique design and demonstration capabilities, will bring exploration of Mathematica 3.0 features and benefits to the doorsteps of many existing users, now numbering over a million. Working closely with its dealers and resellers, Wolfram Research, Inc., the developer of Mathematica 3.0, is launching this tour to demonstrate its enthusiasm for the product and to share it with customers in a dedicated and focused manner.
