The article profiles Stephen Wolfram, CEO of Wolfram Research and creator of Mathematica, and his major new science project. News of Wolfram’s project and book has generated much interest over the last few years, and this recent interview has raised the anticipation another notch. Following publication of the article, advance sales of Wolfram’s book on Amazon.com have propelled the book up the sales list as high as number 184.

Wolfram has created wolframscience.com, a web site that is dedicated to the upcoming book, A New Kind of Science. The site contains preview material from the book, as well as ordering information.
