November 5, 2009—Wolfram Research today announced the availability of the Mathematica Spanish Language Kit. While Mathematica is already widely used in Spanish-speaking countries around the world, the Spanish Language Kit marks the beginning of a localization strategy designed to bring Mathematica to a wider audience.
Mathematica is an all-in-one computation and visualization system, development environment, and deployment engine. Practical for anything technical—modeling, simulation, development, documentation, and more—Mathematica is used across diverse technical fields, including engineering, science, and financial analysis.
The Spanish Language Kit, which can be automatically downloaded and installed from within Mathematica itself, lets users navigate Mathematica in Spanish. It provides Spanish menu commands, dialog boxes, hands-on tutorials with guided examples, and much more. It also allows users to switch back and forth between Spanish and English as they please.
The Spanish Language Kit is a free download to Mathematica 7.0.1 users, and is available for Microsoft Windows.
