September 1, 1999–Following the successes of IMS ’95 in Southampton, UK, and IMS ’97 in Rovaniemi, Finland, IMS ’99 provided insight into a wide diversity of Mathematica applications from around the globe.
Organized independently by Mathematica enthusiasts, IMS ’99 was held in late August at the Research Institute for Symbolic Computation (RISC-Linz) in Linz, Austria.
The International Mathematica Symposium is a biennial event attracting users to present original work and learn about current developments and applications of advanced scientific computing.
